Content Writing FAQS

I always ask my clients to complete a questionnaire. It’s only ten questions but it’s the basis for how we write and improve content.

While I’m always happy to schedule a call, I still need the questionnaire completed before I proceed. I require all notes to be documented

Yes! But I have a big caveat in saying this. It is CRITICAL to A/B test all content where you expect a conversion. What may be appealing to one person may not be to another and the only way to figure that out is to constantly test.

I will always ask for a topic, bullet points, and resource links. My philosophy is, the more information I have upfront, the better the deliverable the first time around.

I include one full round of revisions but need feedback within five days of delivery for every of our content writing service. If I don’t hear back within five days, I will consider the content approved, and any changes required after then will need a quote. I ask my clients to provide feedback directly on the doc, so I am very clear about necessary changes. Phone calls are not conducted for edits.

In situations where I will typically charge for extra edits is when a) The revision request includes info that wasn’t mentioned in the original brief and b) When the scope of the revision request exceeds what is offered (ex. a complete rewrite instead of minor tweaks, extra content, etc.).
